LEAGUE and cup clashes have again been hit by the weather in the Plymouth & West Devon Combination Sunday League.

Only seven of tomorrow's fixture list could escape the cull.

At the time of going to press, one game that was still on was the Division Two encounter between top of the table Bluebird United and fifth-placed Plymouth United A.

United go into the clash at Eggbuckland Community College, just four points adrift of Bluebird, but the latter inflicted a 5-1 defeat on their rivals only last Sunday, so must start as favourites.

The only other match that could go on in Division Two is at the the Memorial Ground where Walkhampton entertain Bar So Ona.

Fourth-placed Bar Sol Ona on 19 points, can put pressure on the leading three of Bluebird, the Windmill and Railway Inn (all 21pts), with success against the moorland side tomorrow.

Last time out, Bar Sol shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Friary Vaults A.

Tor Bridge High School's 3G surface is likely to provide the only fare in Division Three in which the league's bottom-placed teams Plymouth United B and Princetown are the opponents.

Winless and pointless Princetown won't need reminding twice of last week's result which saw the moorlanders slump to a 12-1 defeat at the hands of high-flying Navy Inn Reserves.

In the Devon Sunday Senior Cup quarter-final tie, all Division One sides Windmill and Railway Inn face one another at the Tothill Enclosure.

Barn Barton Rangers and Seymour Arms look to progress in the Devon Sunday Supplementary Cup, round four tie at the Taxifast Parkway.

Elsewhere, in the Sunday Supplementary Cup Kings Tamerton CA A take on Barnes United at Marine Academy Plymouth in Group B of that competition.

The other tie is scheduled to take place in Group E where Brookside SC and Hyde Park AFC, lock horns at Lipson Community College.
