We are delighted that these independent rankings are testimony to our desire for success, to improve ourselves year on year and to be able to provide top tier expert advice to our increasing client base in more and more practice areas."

Partner and head of employment, Rhodri Davey, received a top-tier personal ranking of Band 1 with his employment team achieving Band 2 overall.

Rhodri Davey said: "We are thrilled to have increased our firm ranking to Band 2 for employment law and very proud of every member of our talented team who helps us to maintain our standards and ethos. To have this recognised by such an influential guide is very encouraging, we look forward to continuing to grow our client base across the region in 2013 and beyond."

Lucie Biddick from Kitsons' employment team has also been highlighted in the 2013 guide as an "associate to watch".

Rob Newman, partner at Kitsons said: "Kitsons has always been proud of the service it gives the tourism and hospitality business. This ranking demonstrates that our licensing team is unbeaten in expertise and experience."
