WELL done Juliette Blunkett, Your Say January 12, in encouraging all Senior Citizens to vote this great country of ours out of the EU when, and if, the opportunity arises!

Mr Cameron is all 'wind' and is looking to word the so called promised referendum on the EU in such a way that it would make no difference to our current membership of this 'elite club'. The German Chancellor, Angela Merkel has warned David Cameron not to 'blackmail' Europe by threatening to take Britain out of the EU and the US wants the UK to stay in to act as a counterweight to the French.

We are already members of NATO, so why should the Yanks fear what the French might do.

The fact the 'majority' of our citizens are now against EU membership, seems irrelevant to the US. How many Americans would put up with the EU and all its red tape, non elected officials and financial waste, they cannot even balance their books.

The EU talk of a 'single market', how come we lose 800 more jobs at Honda because our so-called partners in Europe are not buying our cars, what have we stopped importing from the EU to counteract this? Come on guys, get off your backsides and start looking around at other markets, South America, India, Far East, especially China, we buy enough of their junk. Keep the anti EU ball rolling.
