LIVE-IN care agency, Corinium Care, is expanding into Dartmouth.

The award-winning company, based in Gloucestershire, provides 24-hour care for elderly and infirm people in their own homes.

Managing director, Camilla Beloe, founded the company in 1995 and has witnessed rapid growth ever since.

The decision to expand into Devon came after she and her family moved to Dartmouth in 2012.

"An increasing number of our clients live in the West Country, so it makes sense to have a base here," she said.

Corinium Care has 17 staff in Gloucestershire and more than 800 registered carers on its books.

Camilla added: "There is growing awareness that live-in care is an affordable option for elderly people who want to stay in their own home and maintain their independence, particularly when their closest relatives don't live nearby.

"Live-in care offers dignity and peace of mind at a most vulnerable time."
