Riviera Hot Tubs won overseas residential above ground hot tub below £10,000 for an installation at a ski chalet with breathtaking views of the mountains, in Nandez, Switzerland.

Its second winning entry was in the category of residential hot tub (in decking) £10,000 and above. This installation was in Salcombe. The hot tub was set into a flagstone terrace and had a wonderful view down to North Sands and beyond to the English Channel.

The runners-up award was given for residential above ground hot tub £10,000 and above. Riviera Hot Tubs installed it for a client in the south of France near the area of Mougin. The hot tub was installed on a roof terrace of an amazing 1960s contemporary architect-designed house. The hot tub had far reaching views of the Côte d'Azur.

Phil and Sarah Rathbone, Partners at Riviera Hot Tubs, said they were delighted with the awards. The competition had been getting tougher each year so to come away with three awards had been a real achievement.

Harris Pools and Leisure won the residential in-ground hot tub below £10,000 category in the BISHTA awards with an installation of a hot tub at the home of a Devon family.

The company picked up a gold award in SPATA's in-ground commercial spas and health pools category, for its outstanding installation of a spa at the Thurlestone Hotel. The spa features multi coloured, underwater lights and a sea life wall feature.

Kris German, from Harris Pools and Leisure, said: "We are absolutely delighted. These awards are a wonderful acknowledgement of our team's dedication. We have had a great year."

The awards event, organised by the British Swimming Pool Federation, brings SPATA and BISHTA together to highlight the achievements of the pool and spa industry by showcasing the best examples of construction, design, installation and innovation.

Chris Hayes, managing director of BISHTA, said: "This year there was tough competition, with a shortlist of 42 entries across nine categories.

"The awards showcase the excellent work of our members and highlight the benefits of choosing a BISHTA member when buying a hot tub or spa, as they provide great product knowledge and all-important water treatment advice."

The winning entries will now be entered into the European Spa and Hot Tub awards.
