MATCH REPORT: Exeter Chiefs 9 Leicester 21
Exeter Chiefs paid the price for a woeful first half as they slipped to a 21-9 defeat at home against Leicester in the Aviva Premiership.
Tries from Ben Youngs and Niki Goneva in the opening period saw the Tigers lead 15-0 at Sandy Park.
And they were able to close the game out in the second half to record victory over Rob Baxter's men.
The Chiefs had an early let-off when TV official Trevor Fisher ruled Niall Morris had knocked-on trying to gather Tony Flood's chip into the in-goal area.

However, Ben Youngs crossed not long after and Flood slotted a penalty to make it 8-0. A second try from Goneva, which Flood converted, saw the Tigers comfortably ahead at the break.
Gareth Steenson cut the deficit to 15-9 with three penalties but Flood slotted two of his own to move Leicester clear and sew up the win in front of a crowd of 9,524.
