MP leads group for industry
A DEVON MP is leading a new group in Parliament to lobby for the beef and sheep industry.
Neil Parish (Tiverton and Honiton) was appointed chairman of the beef and lamb all-party group for England.

Industry experts will brief the group on the latest developments in the industry, including supply chains, exports, sustainability, health and nutrition.
And Mr Parish, himself a former farmer, said: "Britain produces some of the world's finest grass fed beef and lamb to the highest possible animal welfare standards.

EBLEX, the organisation for beef and lamb levy payers in England will administer the group.
Its other members include Rory Stewart MP (Conservative), Liberal Democrat agriculture spokesman Andrew George MP, Mark Spencer MP (Conservative) and Shadow Food and Farming Minister Huw Irranca-Davis MP (Labour).
