MP views students' artwork at new gallery
MP Oliver Colvile viewed students work in an exhibition at a local gallery.
The work, displayed at KARST, Stonehouse, has been put together by 3D Spacial and Interior Design students as part of their degree course.
The MP for Plymouth Sutton and Devonport spent Saturday morning viewing the Metamorphosis exhibition and speaking to the students from Plymouth University.
The undergraduates were set a task to make modern additions to certain areas of the city, including The Palace Theatre, and ideas included a modern building on the Hoe and a new play experience for children.

“The visit from Oliver Colvile MP went really well.
“The students went through their work with him and the rationale behind their designs.
“We had a lot of people at the opening event and look forward to working with the university again in the future.”
Mathew Emmet, Associate Professor at the school of Architecture, Design and Environment has spoken of his desire to push the live aspect of the course and work with relevant institutions in Plymouth for the benefit of students.
