Exeter Magistrates Court
Magistrates said the assault offence was serious because the victin was vulnerable, the defendant had a knife with him, he has previous convictions for similar incidents, the incident was protracted, and "he has no insight whatsoever into the effect of his behaviour on other people and is deliberately dragging the victim through the court for sport".
A restraining order was issued which will prevent him from contacting his victim by any means until further notice.
