Main road to be resurfaced
MILLBAY Road will get a new lease of life this month as Plymouth Transport and Highways reconstruct and resurface the road.
Work will take place between tomorrow and Friday with overnight closures in force.
Residents received a letter from the council advising them of the work, which will take place during the hours of 6.30pm and 6am.

Carlos Reynolds, aged 29, allegedly raped the woman in Plymouth on October 4 last year. He attended the city's Crown Court but did not enter a plea.
Judge Paul Darlow set down a trial for June 2 next year.
Reynolds, of Goldsmith Road, Leyton, East London, was released on conditional bail until December 16. He must not contact five named prosecution witnesses nor enter Devon save for court appearances.
AN AUTUMN fair is set to take place at St Gabriel's Church in Hyde Park.
Running from 10am until 1pm the event will feature light lunches, refreshments, a Tombola, raffle and various stalls selling plants, books, greetings cards and home-made cakes. Admission to the event in Peverell Terrace being held this Saturday, October 5, is by donation.
A BOY aged 16 has admitted sexual activity with a 12-year-old girl.
The youth appeared at Plymouth Crown Court to plead guilty to three counts of sexual activity with a child under the age of 13 in the city on November 11 last year.
Judge Paul Darlow adjourned sentence for the youth offending officers to prepare a report on his background.
The Plymouth youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was released on bail until November 15.
