Man, 51, arrested after woman's body found in house

A 51-year-old man has been arrested at Dulverton on suspicion of murder following the death of a woman in Wiltshire.

The man remains in custody at Taunton Police station.

The arrest comes after the body of woman was found at an residential address in Melksham yesterday morning.

Police say formal identification of the deceased will follow in due course and a post-mortem examination is likely to take place this afternoon.
