Man admits arson at woman's home
A MAN started a fire at a home which could have put lives in danger, a court heard.
Shaun Bygrave, aged 44, admitted arson reckless as to whether life was endangered.
He pleaded guilty at Plymouth Crown Court to setting a fire at a woman's home in Fleet Street, Keyham, on August 2.
Bygrave, of Fleet Street, denied an alternative charge of arson with intent to endanger life. Kelly Scrivener, for the Crown Prosecution Service, offered no evidence on that count. Judge Paul Darlow adjourned sentence and ordered a psychiatric report. Bygrave was remanded in custody until January 11 next year.
