Man charged with assault and damaging windows on South Devon Railway
A man from Buckfastleigh has been charged with assault with intent to resist arrest following an incident near Totnes
Officers were called to Staverton Railway Station at lunchtime on January 2 following a report that a 20-year-old man assaulted a member of the railway staff.

He was held at the scene until police arrived.
Christopher Margrie was arrested by police and subsequently interviewed.

He was interviewed and also charged with criminal damage to a number of carriage windows.
The damage has an estimated cost of £1,000.
He will appear before South and West Devon Magistrates on January 17.
