One person who saw the crash, which happened outside the Old Barn Inn, said the road was blocked until members of the public towed the Honda out of the road.

Police and an ambulance rushed to the scene and the driver of the Honda was taken to North Devon District Hospital for precautionary checks. His injuries are not thought to be serious.

“This story looks as if it has been simply copied from The Gazette's website. I was a witness and the police/ambulance did not 'rush' to the scene, it actually took about 10-15minutes. I suggest you do your own research for stories rather than copy other stories and change words and get it WRONG”
