Man sought by police after alleged assault following Braunton bus dispute
A man is being sought by police after allegedly attempting to assault another man following a dispute on a bus.
Police said a man became verbally abusive to bus passengers while the vehicle was travelling through Braunton on Wednesday, September 25.
Officers said a bus passenger, believed to be an off-duty member of the military, challenged the man and asked him to stop offending the other passengers.
Police said the offender then followed the passenger off the bus and attempted to punch him at the bus stop on Wrafton Road.

However, the victim was uninjured.
Police want to speak to the alleged offender, who is described as being 5ft 10”, in his late thirties or early thirties, with a shaved haircut and stubble.
He was wearing a green T-shirt and Australian type hat and was carrying a rucksack at the time of the alleged incident.
