Man tried to take picture up 16-year-old girl's skirt at bus stop
POLICE are hunting for a man who openly admitted attempting to take an "upskirt" shot of a 16-year-old girl at a bus-stop.
The girl was at the bus bay opposite the Lidl store in Union Street at around 4.10pm on August 12 when she was joined by a man in his late 20s who sat down alongside her.
After a short while she realised he was taking photos with his mobile phone. However, turning to face him she realised he was trying to get photos of her up her skirt.
Investigators say that when she challenged him about what he was doing, he brazenly replied: "I'm trying to take a photo up your dress."

Fortunately, her bus arrived seconds later and she boarded the bus, which was heading into the city.
The man was described as white, around 6ft tall, lean with blond medium-length "choppy" hair and in his late 20s. He wore dark blue jeans and a casual un-tucked white shirt and he spoke in a local accent.
Det Con Helen Batten, lead investigator, said the girl was very shaken up by the experience, particularly as she had only recently started work in the area. If you can assist police or recognise the man from the description, contact police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 quoting crime reference number EC/13/7809.
