Man on wrong side of Taw Bridge railings in Barnstaple
A man was found on the wrong side of the railings on Barnstaple's Taw Bridge this afternoon.
Police were alerted to the scene at around 4.30pm by ambulance crews who have since taken the man to North Devon District Hospital for assessment.

The bridge has now been cleared.
