Manager Tom Bulley works hard to find new recruits for Barnstaple Town
BARNSTAPLE TOWN manager Tom Bulley is working to strengthen his squad ahead of the trip to Cadbury Heath on Saturday.
The need for extra quality was exposed by a dreadful defensive display in the 6-1 defeat to Odd Down.

BACK AT BARNSTAPLE: Dan Hart has returned after last term's spell.
While Bulley is looking to build a team for the long term, he is prepared to use short-term help in the battle against relegation.
"Lads are tied up with other clubs halfway through the season and it's not easy (to make signings)," said Bulley.

"I brought in Stephen Reed, who didn't have a game for Weymouth. He came in to give us a hand and, if he hasn't got a game (with Weymouth), hopefully he'll be back in again."
Barnstaple have signed Dan Hart, from Tavistock, and Jordan Pearce, from Ivybridge Town, on a permanent basis.
Hart, the midfielder, is back for a second spell at the club, having played under Owen Pickard last season. Pearce is a defender, and, like Hart, a former Plymouth Argyle apprentice.
Relegation looks inevitable but Bulley insisted the team must remain positive they can claw back a nine-point gap.
"We train twice a week," he said. "We are doing the right things off the field, we have got to do the right things on it now.Hopefully I can get a settled team and give the last 16 games a real good go."
Barnstaple will host Witheridge in a friendly at Mill Road on Tuesday (7.30pm).
