Mary Deans (pictured right) triumphed in one of the most competitive NPower Kids Cups ever. An increase in the number of schools who entered made for some great action across both days of the fiercely fought event.

More than 400 Year 5 and 6 pupils took part on day one of the tournament.

After 120 matches, 10 schools qualified for the finals the following day.
