Mercedes left on Plymouth roundabout after crash

A busy roundabout in Plymouth has been left partially blocked after a car crashed into a sign.

The silver Mercedes Elegance collided with a sign on a roundabout in Union Street, near the Octagon at 2:30pm.

A police spokesman said: "The driver locked the car up and walked away. We're waiting for the recovery vehcile to arrive."

The road is partially blocked but the driver is not believed to have been hurt.
