Minis' big weekend in aid of Little Bridge House
A fleet of hundreds of Minis made a spectacular sight as they toured the Westcountry over the weekend.
An estimated 350 Minis gathered at Westward Ho! for the start of the North Devon Grand Tour which is now in its 16th year.
Organised by the North Devon Mini Register and dubbed the "Legendary Grand Tour" the fleet of Minis, many decorated and with their owners in fancy dress, headed for Dartington Crystal at Torrington. On Saturday, a small team of 25 minis picked up families from Little Bridge House, the centre near Barnstaple run by Children's Hospice South West, for a day out at The Big Sheep attraction. A mini fete also helped raise money for the charity.
Today the convoy of minis will leave Bideford Park at 11am before crossing the old bridge towards Instow and going to Little Bridge House.
