Molesley extends his loan with Pilgrims
Plymouth Argyle's hopes of pulling away from the npower League Two relegation zone have received the perfect pre-Christmas boost after Mark Molesley extended his loan stint with the Pilgrims.
The 31-year-old has performed well since arriving from Bournemouth and played a pivotal role as the Pilgrims secured their first win in ten with a 2-0 win over York City.
Molesley then helped his new club draw the Devon derby at Exeter City 1-1 and the news that he will remain in the Westcountry means he will be available for Argyle's next three League games.
They are against Torquay United at Home Park on Boxing Day, Wycombe Wanderers on the 29th, which is also on home soil, and Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium on January 1.

That game will see him come up against new Rovers boss John Ward, who opted against an offer to become Argyle's new director of football to take up the reigns with the Pirates. It is his second time in charge of Rovers after a spell at the helm during the 1990s.
The blonde schemer will also be available for the trip to promotion-seeking Port Vale, who are currently second, the home clash with Morecambe and Argyle's trip to Southend United, who are managed by former Argyle chief Paul Sturrock.
Molesley arrived at Plymouth having not played a game for the Cherries this season, but soon acquitted himself at the heart of the Pilgrims' midfield.
After his debut in the 1-0 npower League Two home defeat by Chesterfield, he featured in the 1-1 Johnstone's Paint Trophy draw against Oxford United at Home Park, which the U's eventually won on penalties.
