Legendary 'horse whisperer' Monty Roberts is to become the patron of Bristol-based horse welfare charity HorseWorld.

Mr Roberts accepted the invitation to become the charity's patron after a visit to the centre last November.

The Devon & Somerset Staghounds will meet at 10.45am tomorrow at *Scob Hill Gate; Tuesday 17 at Haddon Hill and Thursday 19 at Greystone Gate. The Four Burrow Hunt will meet at 11am on Tuesday 17 at Filtrick Farm. *No horse transport at the meet please
