Motorcyclist 'critical' after collision with car

A motorcyclist was fighting for his life in hospital last night following a serious road accident.

The 28-year-old man from Paignton was in Derriford Hospital with "critical" head injuries after the crash at Kingsbridge.

The incident involved a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a Mini Cooper on the A381, between Slade Cross and Stumpy Cross, at around 2pm on Saturday.

The 23-year-old driver of the Mini, from the Kingsbridge area escaped unhurt.
