Motorcyclist and pillion passenger suffer life-threatening injuries after collision near Tavistock
A serious collision near Tavistock has left a motorcycle rider and his pillion passenger with life-threatening injuries.
The collision involved a motorcycle and a Land Rover on the A386 near to the Dartmoor Inn at Mary Tavy at around 2.30pm on Sunday, October 6.
A Yamaha 1100cc motorcycle, being ridden by a 56-year-old man from Okehampton, with a 51-year-old female pillion passenger, was travelling in the direction of Tavistock when it was in collision with a Land Rover Freelander.
Both the rider and pillion passenger sustained life-threatening injuries and remain in Derriford Hospital.

The driver of the Freelander, from the Liskeard area, was unharmed. His front seat passenger suffered whiplash injuries.
