Motorcyclist injured after collision with car outside Plymouth primary school

A motorcyclist was left with minor leg injuries after his bike collided with a car.

Police were called to the incident in Embankment Road, just yards from the entrance of Prince Rock primary school, at just before 1.40pm today.

Paramedics and an emergency on-call doctor treated the motorcyclist at the scene before he was taken to Derriford Hospital with minor leg injuries.

The driver of a silver Mercedes convertible was uninjured and the road was cleared by 2.20pm.

Police said no-one was arrested but they are appealing for any witnesses to come forward
