Neighbour from hell kicked out
RESIDENTS of a Tiverton street say they are delighted after a man who held 24-hour parties and hurled abuse at them was evicted from his home.
Mid Devon District Council secured a court order to enable them to ban 21-year-old Kane Thomas – or anyone else – from entering the Westexe property.
Music was played so loud at the ground-floor flat that next-door floorboards shook, neighbours said.
Residents said they had endured a "living hell" in recent months and thanked council officers and police for taking decisive action.

The flat – which is now boarded up – would host parties which sometimes went on for more than 24 hours, neighbours said. At times, the troublesome tenants would sleep through the day before partying at night.
Complaints logged included reports not just of loud music, but of shouting and screaming, noisy vehicles and threats and intimidation.
