Naked man throws rocks at swans in Plymouth as temperature drops to freezing
Police chased off a naked man throwing rocks at swans at 3am this morning as temperatures in Plymouth dropped to freezing.
Officers were called to a muddy slipway near the China House by residents disturbed by a group of noisy revellers.

Police say a naked man was throwing rocks or stones at swans on the waterfront.
The group moved on when the police arrived, but officers were unable to catch the naked individual.

Police say they were called by residents but they are unable to explain why anyone would strip naked on a muddy beach at 3am in November.
It does not appear the swans were injured.

“whats it going to be next with people like this? I have seen people before in my local park hurling stuff at swans and using generally threatening behavior to swans in parks near ponds and its always group yobs. they say people are just clones of their parents. you would have to be pretty sick to hurt a helpless swan. Police need to be aggressive with people who try and harm wildlife in this way.”
