Both kits have been made by Puma, with Bond Timber continuing as the club's shirt sponsor for a second consecutive season.
The home strip, which carries the name of sponsors Specialist Vehicles on the reverse of the shirt, will be worn by Argyle players for the first time when they take on Portsmouth in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday, August 14.
The away kit, also sponsored by Pilgrims' programme publishers OPublishing, will get its initial outing in the League Two clash at Dagenham and Redbridge a week later.
The two strips will go on sale from the Argyle Superstore at Home Park from 9am on Saturday, August 11.
However, pre-orders will be taken in store, on line and by telephone from Wednesday, August 1.
Those pre-orders will be sent out to arrive before the official Saturday launch.
There is also a bonus for Argyle supporters who have taken out a Green+ Membership, which includes a free home or away shirt.
Green+ Members will be able to collect their shirt from the Home Park Box Office from 9am on Thursday, August 9.

“The `V` neck looks like the old style from the fifties,I much prefer a collar instead, and it all looks poor compared to previous strips.Still, as long as the team play better than they look, they will be ok.”

“You people just enjoy giving old Mike the thumbs down.. don't you
On the subject of supporting teams that are hundreds of miles away from where you live (see merv the perv and mark collings)... does this mean checking their result in the paper on a Sunday morning ?”

“I remember 20 odd years ago the powers that be put on display 5 different kit designs and allowed us fans to vote for our favourite. That was how to make supporters feel a part of the club. As for this strip i agree there should be some black in it but other than that it looks pretty smart to me.
And Robbie Williams, I hope you got the deal you were obviously holding out for (must be his name making him feel more important than he actually is, IMHO!)

“What is modern Imapilgrim. Such a band around the chest is retro.1960's continental style.
The sleeves ( Arsenal style) have been worn by Argyle in a number of strips (even before the 1960's) There is nothing modern in this kit design. My only comments are regarding the colour green and the absence of black. I would also prefer white to yellow. Modern? doesn't exist, it's an excuse for commercial profiting. ( over the backs of supporters) .In a maximum of 2 years these strips will again be history.”

“As an Argyle supporter for more than 50 years I suppose I am a traditionalist. But isn't that what supporting a club involves. Identity with the club based on its history etc. Of course things evolve but the small basics should be retained. Argyle's official colours have always been Green, BLACK and white. A black v-neck , trim for the sleeve and stripe om the shorts would be smart. People should go to the "classic strips" websites to see the evolution. The green is smart but the green of the 50's/60's/70's is for me the Argyle green.
I also agree that white is nicer for an away kit. Looking at the European championships. England's white strip is smart without all of the fancy trimings on most other team's strips.”

“Well I quite like the home shirt. Why yellow though? What was wrong with white? Are we Norwich now?”
