New bests for SDAC runners

SIX members of South Devon Athletic club set Personal Best times in the new Exeter Half-Marathon held on Sunday.

Ian McClean was the first of the club's runners home, finishing 32nd in 1.27.59 for a new PB.

Keith Belt was 52nd in 1.34.30 for another PB, while Marc Jones was another in the PB club, finishing 127th in 1.43. 51.

In 158th place, Ryan Rudge recorded a PB of 1.49.00 while the first SDAC lady home was Val McClean, finishing 175th in 1.53.43 for another PB.

Club chairman John Barrett was 184th in 1.55.05 and Lisa Jeffery was 195th of the 268 finishers in 1.57.56, another PB.

In the Fulfords Five race at Exmouth Ken House was 169th in 47. 34, Leonora Richards 194th in 57.26 and Andrew Hammett 195th in 57.27.
