A NEW classroom and refurbished toilet and cloakroom were opened at a Mid Devon primary school last week.

The £220,000 scheme at Bolham Primary School was officially opened by the chairman of Devon County Council, Councillor Jerry Brook, last Wednesday. November 14.

Bolham head of governors Chris Lines said: "Our oldest pupils were accommodated in a mobile classroom which was cold in the winter, hot in the summer and where learning conditions were less than ideal.

"We would like to thank all those who have worked so hard to ensure future generations of children benefit from an environment that is fit for purpose and supports high quality education at Bolham."
