New look Luke Friend rocks X Factor judges
TEIGNMOUTH'S Luke Friend unveiled his newly washed hair-do as he rocked the X Factor on Saturday night.
There had been speculation all week about an image change for the 17-year-old but fans need not have worried about his trademark locks.
The long hair remained in tact and was just given a good wash as he took to the hairdressers this week.
The young singer did however brave some blonde highlights in his dreadlocks for his makeover.

The Coombeshead Academy pupil, who is down to to the final 10 of the X Factor, showed off his new look on stage wearing a silk cravat.
He performed Seal's hit Kiss from a Rose with his guitar on the movie themed show and wowed the judges.
Sharon Osborne told him: "You have got such a distinctive sound. It sets you apart from everybody else in this contest.
"You have an edge. It is definitely dirty and I like that about you. It was a perfect song choice. Your vocals have come on so far."
Gary Barlow said Luke's performance was the 'surprise of the night'.
"You have come a long way You are growing into this role now as a rocker. I loved it I really did."
Nicole Scherzinger said: "It was a brilliant song choice and it is great to see you at home up there with your guitar. And I'm going to bury my face in your hair now you've washed it."
Mentor Louis Walsh said Luke had picked the song himself and said it was 'absolutely' the right choice and his 'most relaxed performance' of the competition.
Host Dermot O'Leary said Luke was 'doing it for Devon' and introduced him to the stage saying he was the man with cream teas and smugglers coves coursing through his veins.
Luke told Dermot: "This is one of my favourite songs ever and I wanted to show how much I enjoy singing it."
He said he was learning more every week and said he 'loved playing his guitar'.
Luke survived the Flash Vote on Saturday. To find out if he makes it through to next week see Sunday night's results show.
