THE sixth annual Countryside Alliance Awards nominations are now open and Neil Parish MP is urging the local community to get nominating.

The awards give unsung local heroes the chance to be celebrated for their contributions to rural Britain's food and farming industry.

Previous winners include Pipers Farm, Cullompton. Nominations can be made online at www.countrysidealliance awards.co.uk between September 6 and October 22.
