Nominations open for Works WISE awards
Nominations have launched for the sixth Cornwall Works WISE Awards, which celebrate achievements in employment and skills activity across the county and Isles of Scilly.
The event, hosted by ESF Convergence, will take place at the Headland Hotel, Newquay, May 9. It is held annually on Europe Day to reflect the that the European Social Fund – which is administered in the Duchy through the ESF Convergence Programme – has played in employment and skills provision and innovation.
There are eight 2013 WISE award categories, plus one special outstanding achievement award honouring an individual or organisation.
Award winners in 2012 included ESF-funded Clear About Carbon, which produces e-learning courses for businesses and the government on climate change.
