North Devon woman arrested after street mugging
A 43-year-old Barnstaple woman is in custody following a street robbery at Ilfracombe.
The incident happened at about 8.30am on Monday November 19 when the victim, a 63-year-old woman from the seaside resort was approached by the suspect as she walked in High Street.

The victim had her handbag snatched and in the ensuing struggle her purse, containing a fairly substantial amount of cash, was stolen.
The suspect was arrested a short time later and is being questions by detectives this afternoon.
