Objectors to Town Hall retirement flat plan to air concerns
OBJECTORS dismayed at the granting of planning permission for 45 retirement flats will sit down with proponents of the scheme to air their concerns.
Tiverton MP Neil Parish secured a meeting between Mid Devon District Council – which owns the land – officers and residents this Friday.
Town councillors will also be able to attend the meeting in the town hall in Fore Street at 4pm after initial fears they had not been invited.
Town clerk John Vanderwolfe had been concerned that approaches were not made to town councillors about the meeting but a call to the MP's office confirmed that they were welcome.
