Paignton woman, 18, rescued after sledging accident on Dartmoor
A Devon woman who hurt was injured while sledging on Dartmoor was helped by rescue teams last night.
The 18-year-old was with friends when she hurt her ankle at Poundsgate on Dartmoor, leaving her trapped in freezing conditions for three hours.

The Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team were called to assist the South Western Ambulance Service at Yartor Down, near Dartmeet at 6:30pm.
The team arrived through some very cold and snowy conditions to assist the young woman who had a suffered a suspected fractured leg.

A spokesperson for the Dartmoor Rescue Team said: "It had been snowing on and off during the day and when our volunteers arrived the moor was covered in a thick carpet of snow with more falling and a dense hill fog.
"Once the casualty's location was ascertained she was attended to by the team doctor and nurse, as well as the paramedic."
Her leg was stabilised and then she was transferred on to a stretcher and transported back to a waiting ambulance.
Dartmoor Rescue Group added: "She was okay, very cold and a little hypothermic. It was a successful result and we wish the young lady a speedy recovery."
Snow fell on high ground across Devon yesterday with the Met Office warning of further cold weather as temperatures fell again last night.
A few light snow flurries are expected in some places, though any new accumulations will be slight.
