Parkway maintain perfect record by ending Exmouth's winning run
PLYMOUTH PARKWAY and Witheridge remain the only two sides sporting 100% records after Saturday's results in the Premier Division of the South West Peninsula League.
Parkway knew something had to give in their clash at home to Exmouth Town as the visitors to Bolitho Park also boasted a perfect record and the hosts ran out 3-1 winners.
Newly promoted Exmouth travelled to Plymouth after a run of four consecutive victories only to find themselves a goal down after just three minutes, after Steve Colwell had curled his shot into Grant Fisher's net from 15 yards.
Town came back strongly with striker Ace High twice going close before he headed home Jamie Moore's 20th-minute corner to deservedly level the scores.

The goal only acted as a spur for Parkway, who were back in front 15 minutes later when Ryan Richards shrugged off Wayne Shailer's challenge before coolly slotting the ball past the advancing Fisher from 15 yards.
Parkway dominated the second half but could only add one more goal to their tally when Levi Landricombe's deflected shot was tapped in, from a few yards, by midfielder Danny Lewis.
Witheridge were comfortable 5-2 winners at struggling Liskeard Athletic who are still looking for their first point of the season after suffering five straight defeats.
Jordan Charran and Steve Ebdy's twice-taken penalty had given Withy a two-goal interval lead which they increased to four after Roger Ingham's solo effort and Josh Kite's close-range tap-in.
Tom Hall's clever lob pulled a goal back for the Blues with Luke Cole notching the visitors' fifth before Reece Small hit Liskeard's second.
Sam Dicken gave Bovey Tracey the lead at Bodmin Town who were a tad fortunate to gain a point courtesy of Lee Doel's second-half effort.
Elburton Villa gained their first victory of the season after winning 3-2 at Cullompton Rangers, where Chris Clarke (two) and Aaron Hulme scored their goals, while Dean Stamp and Andy Hawkins replied for the home side.
Mike Body's 15th-minute goal was enough to see St Austell inflict a first defeat of the season on Ivybridge as they won 1-0 at Erme Valley while Mark Gusterson's effort saw Camelford beat Elmore 1-0 at Trefrew Park.
Paul Cox was on target for Falmouth but goals from Jon Hoyles, Dimitri Kanaki and Sam Hughes gave Saltash United a 3-1 victory at Bickland Park.
Aaron Dilley, Tim Peacock and Phil Lowry were Godolphin Atlantic's scorers as the newly promoted side defeated visiting St Blazey 3-2.
Jordan Greatrex and Ashley Piggott replied for the away side.
Torpoint Athletic beat Tavistock 4-1 at The Mill thanks to goals from Danny Brook (penalty), Lewis Young, Callum Martindale and Dave Smith.
The Lambs replied courtesy of a penalty converted by Ryan Honey.
The Friday evening game at Launceston saw a Sam Davey penalty plus Luke Doddridge's powerful shot give the home side a 2-0 victory over Newquay.
