Physicist is caught speeding in Exeter
A PHYSICS researcher at the University of Exeter has been fined for speeding on his motorbike through Exeter.
Dr Matthew Lockyear, 43, of Chudleigh Road, Exeter, was caught speeding on Topsham Road on August 6 last year and his case came before Exeter magistrates where a guilty plea was registered.

He was fined £330 with a victim surcharge of £15 and he was ordered to pay costs of £60.
His licence was also endorsed with six points.
