Pirate FM radio group is ranked the UK's top company to work for
Westcountry independent radio group UKRD has been ranked as the UK's top employer for the third consecutive year in the Sunday Times' Best Companies list.
The annual ranking of mid-sized organisations, which are compiled based on feedback garnered from employees, also named UKRD chief executive William Rogers as the UK's Best Leader for the second year in a row.

Redruth-based UKRD, which is behind local radio station Pirate FM, employs 275 staff across its 17 commercial radio stations across England. It has a geographic reach which stretches from Cornwall to Sunderland in the North East.
The group, which also develops software and is behind a number of websites, achieved the highest marks in a survey which saw more than 90% of its employees say they believed they made a "valuable contribution" to the success of the organisation and loved their job.
