Places still available on city courses
YOUNGSTERS who didn't get grades they were banking on in their exams are being reminded there are other options.
City College Plymouth stressed places are still available on some full-time courses starting soon."All is not lost if you did not get the grades you wanted or if you're still not sure what to do," a spokesman said. "Places are available on courses, at all levels from A-levels, to care and catering, to engineering." He said that in the current economic climate, the "employability skills" of students are important, and added: "The college works with employers to ensure students are work-ready."
