Plans made for reunion
A reunion has been arranged for former pupils of the boys' secondary school, when it was at Lesley Road, Barnstaple, under the leadership of Phillip Heppenstall (September 1939 to July 1951).
It will be held at the Rolle Quay Inn, Rolle Quay, Barnstaple, at 7.15pm on Wednesday, October 10.
The bar will be open and food available. Zimmer frames and mobility scooters can be accommodated. Memorabilia will be welcome.
Here is an opportunity to pay tribute to those tutors who tried to set us on the right path in life, and led by a remarkable headmaster.
