Plymouth Argyle match may be postponed because of a frozen pitch
ARGYLE’S League Two clash at Southend United is in danger of being postponed with an inspection on the frozen Roots Hall pitch due for Friday morning (10.30).
Southend chief executive Steve Kavanagh admitted the forecasted freezing temperatures set for the weekend puts the fixture in doubt.

Kavanagh said on Southend’s official website: “ The pitch is of concern to us as unfortunately the covers have been unable to prevent it from being frozen.
“With Plymouth facing a long journey on Friday, we felt it was important to get the inspection early to prevent them from making a wasted journey, should it not be playable.”

Familyman12 - get a decent phone or revert to a PC/Laptop where you have full control over your keyboard. Smart phones are not the answer to lifes problems.

Call the game off, even if the pitch thaws it will be a quagmire... Would be good to play it on a Saturday but a Tuesday evening in April on a playable surface would be much better... Also give the new players a chance to gel a bit more...”
