Plymouth Argyle's Carl Fletcher pleased by attitude of Alex MacDonald
Carl Fletcher has spoken of the "refreshing" attitude of new Plymouth Argyle loan signing Alex MacDonald.
The 21-year-old has signed for the Pilgrims from Championship club Burnley, initially until March 6.

MacDonald is desperate to play first-team football, having been limited to one start and six substitute appearances for the Clarets this season.
And Fletcher was struck by how keen the Scotland under-21 international was to make the move to Home Park.
MacDonald is a 5ft 7in striker who can also play in attacking midfield roles either on the left or right.
He was recommended to Fletcher by Burnley boss – and former Bournemouth team-mate – Eddie Howe.
Fletcher said: "I think Alex's favourite position would be as a striker, but Ed says he's one of those who can literally play anywhere.
"Ed has even played him at right-back, although I don't think he was too keen about it.
"He just wants to play football, and whatever he has to do to play football he will do it. It's refreshing.
"In my experiences over the years, I have seen a lot of young lads come through and it's almost too much hard work for them to go out there and try to get a career.
"It's nice and refreshing to see you have got a young lad who will do whatever it takes to play football."
MacDonald was one of two on-loan strikers snapped up by Fletcher before the January transfer window slammed shut. The other one was former German under-19 international Juvhel Tsoumou, 21, from Preston North End.
The 6ft 1in Tsoumou and MacDonald will compete for places in Argyle's starting line-up with Nick Chadwick and Matt Lecointe.
Tsoumou has played 22 times for Preston this season, including 11 starts, and scored four goals.
Exeter City's League One match at AFC Bournemouth has been rearranged for this coming Tuesday, February 7, (7.45pm) after today's scheduled game was abandoned due to a frozen pitch.
The pitch at the Seward Stadium had been covered since the beginning of the week, but the game was called off by referee Oliver Langford following an inspection yesterday morning.
Torquay United's intended League Two visit to Rotherham today also fell foul of the frozen conditions at the Don Valley Stadium.
The Millers conducted a pitch inspection yesterday and it was quickly apparent the game would not go ahead. Details on the rearranged fixture date will be published in due course.
