Plymouth Argyle v Southend United game given go-ahead after pitch inspection
Plymouth Argyle's match against Southend United today has been given the go-ahead following an early-morning pitch inspection.
The npower League Two game beat the February freeze following an 8am check by match referee Chris Sarginson.

Chris, who was accompanied by Argyle manager Carl Fletcher and his Southend counterpart Paul Sturrock, concluded that the pitch would be fine for the 3pm kick-off.
Home Park groundstaff had worked around the clock to give the match the best possible chance of going ahead.
The pitch had been covered all week, and hot-air blowers had been on it constantly since early on Friday.
