Plymouth man, 74, on dangerous driving death charge
A PENSIONER accused of causing the death of an elderly man by dangerous driving has faced a judge.
Anthony Dunk, aged 74, appeared at Plymouth Crown Court charged over a fatal accident in Tavistock on November 5 last year.
Dunk allegedly caused the death of 84-year-old Charles Rennie by driving a Honda Jazz dangerously in Pixon Lane. Mr Rennie, from Gunnislake, was pronounced dead at Derriford Hospital later that afternoon.
Bespectacled Dunk, of Milton Crescent, Tavistock, has not yet entered a plea. But a date has been pencilled in for a trial on May 6 next year.
