Plymouth residents invited to have their say on next phase of Devonport regeneration
MEMBERS of the public are invited to have their say on next phase of the Devonport regeneration scheme which will involve an area of housing demolished.
Devon and Cornwall Housing are inviting people to have their say on their proposed development at Granby Green, in Devonport, later this month.
The proposed redevelopment marks the next phase of the Devonport Development Framework following on from Evolve, which when complete in early 2015, will have delivered 219 new homes, including 90 affordable homes.
Most of the people living at Granby Green have already been moved out of the buildings in preparation for the demolition program. Once everyone has been moved to suitable alternative accommodation, and planning permission has been granted, the area will see significant change, Plymouth City Council has said.
