That catapulted her to worldwide audiences when she progressed to the Miss England final, trampling on the competition.
She will host the grand final of Miss England when the competition, along with Mr England, takes place in Torbay later this year, organisers announced last night.
The glitzy four-day event will take place from June 13-16, culminating in a catwalk show at the International Riviera Conference Centre.
Charlotte said: "I am delighted that the Miss England 2013 grand final is being held on my home turf.
"I really hope to see another Miss Devon follow in my footsteps."
Former Face of Plymouth winner Charlotte ended up coming eighth in the Miss World competition when it was held in China last year.
Miss England director Angie Beasley added: "We are really excited to be bringing the Miss England 2013 final to the South West coast of England for the first time.
"It is a beautiful part of the country and I think it will make the perfect setting for the grand final.
"Charlotte has been an amazing Miss England and will certainly be a very hard act to follow, but I am sure we will be able to find someone fantastic to succeed her."
