Plymouth student wins engineering scholarship
A STUDENT has been named as one of the UK's brightest young engineers after winning a prestigious scholarship.
Nathan Vosper, aged 18, won the Institution of Mechanical Engineers' undergraduate scholarship, which will contribute £1,000 per year towards his aeronautics and astronautics degree at Southampton University.
Scholarships were presented to just 40 of the top engineering students in the UK at a ceremony at the Institution's headquarters in London on Wednesday .
Institution president Patrick Kniveton said: "Nathan is one of the most promising young engineers in the UK and I am confident that this is an early step in a hugely successful and exciting engineering career.
