Plymouth university seeks inspiring stories from alumni
OLD Marjon students are being invited to tell their stories as part of the university's celebration of 40 years in Plymouth.
Marjon was set up to train teachers in London in 1840/41.

The college moved to Plymouth in 1973, and this year it is granted full university status.
A spokeswoman said: "We are particularly interested in alumni who are working in the community now, especially in the areas of children, young people and community and sociology, but anyone with an inspiring story will be included."

The life stories will be part of an exhibition and will feed into a community youth project as part of Marjon's Heritage Lottery Fund bid.
Some of the stories already collected include Ernie Gilpin, the college' tug of war team champion in 1931, long before the move to Plymouth.
Ernie went on after graduation to a long and successful teaching career.
Marjon's archive holds some of his teaching records and his tug of war championship medal, donated by his family.
